What You'll Learn
Aesthetic nurses have various duties involving the use of cosmetic injectables, including Botox™, Dysport™, Xeomin™ and Jeuveau™. Treatments with these injectables are one of the most common ways to fight wrinkles, frown lines "the 11's", smile "crows feet" and laugh lines "nasolabial folds". Injectables can also be used to treat TMJ (chronic jaw pain), migraines, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and many more. Aesthetic nurses are also qualified to use dermal fillers and other cosmetic procedures to enhance the face.
If you want to enhance your professional portfolio and expand your skillset, you may want to consider obtaining aesthetic nurse training. The field of aesthetic/cosmetic nursing has been growing at a rapid pace, with an almost ten percent increase per year over the past decade. By taking aesthetic courses, you can expand your offerings, find work with various providers and med-spas, potentially increase your earnings at your current location, or consider starting your own injectable med spa practice. Stay ahead of the curve and consider adding aesthetic nursing qualifications to your skill set.
Our comprehensive courses provide training for RNs, NPs, CRNAs, PAs, and other nurses on injection-based aesthetic services. You'll learn about patient safety, assessment, and treatment with neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Our industry-leading injection protocols will teach you how to add volume, structure, and balance to key areas of the face. Additionally, we provide education on back-end aspects such as fee structures, malpractice insurance, and integrating treatments into esthetic plans.
Aesthetic nursing is a promising career path with numerous job opportunities. Indeed.com currently lists over 500 job openings, some of which require no prior experience. The average annual salary for an aesthetic nurse is reported to be over $85,500, with the top pay reaching $124,000. In addition to administering cosmetic injections, aesthetic nurses also provide patient education and handle other patient-centric tasks. Not only are aesthetic nurses happier overall in their low-stress career path, they typically report more work-life balance.
If you're looking for a new career path or skill set, then Tox with T is the perfect training platform for you. Here we are invested in your success, safety, and longevity in the field of aesthetic nursing. Don't wait to get registered for one of our upcoming courses.
